Papaya Aachar
Ingredients
- Raw papaya – 500g (peeled and cubed)
- Salt – 2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Oil – 50 ml
- Vinegar – 1–2 tbsp (optional for longer shelf life)
Recipe / How to Make
Peel and cut the raw papaya into small cubes. Wash and dry them properly. Mix with salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and mustard seeds. Heat oil and pour it over the papaya mixture. Stir well and transfer to a clean glass jar. Let it rest for 2–3 days to develop flavor before serving.
