Garlic Aachar
Ingredients
- Garlic cloves – 250g (peeled)
- Salt – 2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Oil – 50 ml
- Vinegar – 1–2 tbsp (optional, for longer shelf life)
Recipe / How to Make
Peel the garlic cloves and wash them thoroughly. Dry them in sunlight for 1–2 hours. Mix with salt, red chili powder, turmeric, and mustard seeds. Heat oil and pour over the mixture. Stir well and store in a clean glass jar. Let it sit for 2–3 days for flavors to develop before consuming.
