Cucumber Aachar
Ingredients
- Cucumbers – 500g (peeled and sliced)
- Salt – 2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Oil – 50 ml
- Vinegar – 1–2 tbsp (optional, for longer shelf life)
Recipe / How to Make
Wash and peel the cucumbers. Slice them into thin pieces. Mix with salt, red chili powder, turmeric, and mustard seeds. Heat oil and pour over the cucumber mixture. Stir well and store in a clean glass jar. Allow it to sit for 1–2 days for flavors to develop before consuming.
